I had a wonderful stay at Rio Danta. The staff, particularly Natalia, was extremely helpful and made me feel welcome. The location of the hostel was great, with no noise around, and it was just a short walk to the center. The hostel had a great atmosphere, with plenty of common spaces to hang out and meet people. The kitchen was amazing, well-equipped and organized. I also appreciated the large lockers and the fact that the hostel had a space for practicing yoga. I would definitely recommend Rio Danta for a memorable stay.

Hammocks by the stream, lush greenery, ample cooking facilities, sociable common area, communicable and knowledgeable volunteers, close to town but away from noise.
Everything was fantastic.

I had a fantastic time at Rio Danta! The location was perfect, close to the main area but still peaceful. The staff, particularly Gonzalo, were friendly and made me feel right at home. The amenities were great, with a well-equipped kitchen and even a co-working room. The private rooms were spacious and comfortable, and I loved hearing the sound of the river in the background. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place.

The value for money at Rio Danta was excellent, and the room was comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center but nestled in a peaceful and secluded area next to a river. The staff, especially Alex, were amazing. They made us feel at home and went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Plus, the presence of a sloth in the neighboring garden was an added bonus!
The only thing that could make the breakfast option better would be if there were more variety in the menu.

I also loved that each bed had its own fan, which was a lifesaver in the heat. the guest food boxes were a pleasant surprise and really impressed me. the reception staff was helpful and provided all the information I needed, including a handy map of the area. I highly recommend Rio Danta as a fantastic place to stay. Cons: Nothing bad to say. 😊.

I had an amazing time staying at Rio Danta. The location was secluded and quiet, right next to a little river, and only a few minutes walk from the city. The common areas and facilities were fantastic, with a big terrace, hammocks, a tennis table, and a relaxing reception area. The staff, especially Alex, made me feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. And let's not forget about NALA, their adorable Labrador! I highly recommend this hostel.
While my stay was mostly fantastic, I did encounter a couple of drawbacks. Additionally, the private room I stayed in was in poor condition, with dead bugs on the floors, ants in the room, and spiders hanging from the ceilings.

Hammocks by the river were a great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The hostel's location was close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and noise.- The staff was friendly and helpful, assisting with trip planning and providing local tips
Some of the bathrooms were run-down and there were limited facilities, causing occasional waiting times. The cost of the tours offered by the hostel was quite high compared to similar activities in other areas

The hostel is conveniently located just a short distance from the town center, providing the perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility. The surrounding area is beautiful, with a stream of water and hammocks set up for relaxation. The private rooms are spacious and comfortable, offering a private toilet, a small kitchen, and air conditioning that guests can control. The shared kitchen is well-equipped, and there is even free coffee in the morning. The staff is extremely helpful and kind, ensuring a pleasant stay.
It would be ideal if the bathrooms were cleaner, although they are still of decent cleanliness. Additionally, having hot water in the showers would be a nice addition.
